Plant Revolt meatless balls

Quick-frozen, plant-based product based on green pea protein, made with high protein content, GMO, gluten, soy and lactose free.

Suggested use

Place the product in a deep fryer while frozen and fry until done at 160 °C for about 2 minutes, or in a pan over medium heat with a little oil for about 4-5 minutes.

Recipe - SPAGHETTI WITH TOMATO SAUCE AND VEGAN MEATBALLS 

Ingredients

• 1 kg PlantRevolt plant-based meatballs
• olive oil for frying
• 2 cans of tomato paste
• 1 celery stalk
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 onion
• 2 cloves of garlic
• salt
• pepper
• ½ kg spaghetti

Preparation

1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and fry the PlantRevolt plant-based meatballs in it. When they are sufficiently browned, remove them and set them aside.
2. Add the finely chopped onion, garlic, chopped celery and bay leaf to the remaining oil. Then steam them until soft.
3. Pour in the tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper and simmer over low heat for about an hour.
4. Cook the pasta in boiling water for approximately 8-10 minutes.
5. Remove the bay leaf from the tomato sauce, add the plant meatballs, mix well and cook together for a few minutes.
6. When the pasta is cooked, add it to the PlantRevolt meatless meatball tomato sauce and mix thoroughly.
