The SanLucar Star Ruby grapefruit has a pinkish peel, red and juicy flesh. The most ideal environment for the production area is provided by the regions of Murcia, Seville, Cordoba and North Africa. Grapefruit grows best in regions where the soil is fertile, the warm days are very sunny and the nights are cool. In winter, the fruit comes mostly from Spain, and in the European summer from South Africa.

In addition to temperature, the soil also plays an important role in the life of the fruit. It prefers sunny, warm and drier weather. 
It is important that the nights are not too cold. This helps the fruit to have a higher sugar content. 

Storage tip

Grapefruit is easy to store, it stays fresh in the refrigerator at 15 degrees or even at room temperature.
