Ayran (pronounced: ayran) is a traditional Turkish yogurt drink. It is a slightly salty, yogurt-based drink. Chilled, in summer, it is an incredibly pleasant, refreshing drink! It also replenishes lost minerals in the summer heat! Perhaps this is why our body sends a real rush of joy to our brain when we take a sip.

The history of Naszálytej Zrt. goes back several decades. The Vác Dairy Plant started operating on the site of their company in 1976, which primarily supplied Vác and the surrounding area with basic dairy products. The dairy plant was privatized in 1991, and in 1998 there was a change of ownership, which began the modernization and development of their company that continues to this day.

In the following years, processing technologies were renewed and their capacity was expanded, and new, modern production lines were put into operation. In parallel with the technological developments, their "brands" were born, which are now known, sought after and loved by consumers all over the country. In September 2013, Jásztej Zrt. merged into Naszálytej Zrt. They have become one of the most dynamically developing and defining players in the Hungarian dairy industry.
