Pasta Natura Gluten-Free Brown Rice Pasta Penne
Penne, derived from the Italian word for "feather", is one of the few pasta varieties whose origin is well-documented. In 1865, pasta maker Giovanni Battista Capurro created it in San Martino d'Albaro. Today, there are two main types: smooth penne lisce and grooved penne rigate. Traditionally cooked al dente, it is excellent with sauces (pesto, marinara, arrabiata).
Use
Cook the pasta for 9-10 minutes, or until al dente, as desired.
