Mészáros Szekszárdi Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is a world variety, found in many wine regions, and has been native to the Szekszárd Wine Region for 100 years. It has a characteristic, dark-coloured wine. In the Szekszárd wine region, it is characterised by soft acids and spiciness. This grape is harvested last, in early and mid-November each year, in excellent quality.
Description
The healthy, ripe grapes come from the hills surrounding the town of Szekszárd, which are picked from vines with a vine load of 1.5 kg and green harvesting (yield-limited). The grapes are made with gentle processing, which means that the mash is macerated gently, so that the strong tannins do not dissolve, resulting in velvety, easy-to-drink wines, which are then aged in oak barrels.
Serving suggestion
A deep-coloured, full-bodied, very rich, valuable wine, its decorative notes, blackberry, blackcurrant, beautiful tannins are full of effect, and can be felt. Its aroma shows the scents characteristic of the cabernet variety and the common scent notes of oak barrel ageing. We recommend it with meat dishes. Recommended serving temperature: 18-20ºC.

"I can remember back to my great-grandfather, although my grandparents, parents, everyone was involved in grapes and wine. My great-grandfather was the most successful, he already had the grapes passed through 3-4 times, and made selection wines. In fact, he had a crusher that also destemmed. My great-grandfather was a good winemaker and viticulturist. He was also a hill judge, so my grandmother was registered as Julianna Soós, the hill judge's daughter." - Pál Mészáros
