Dettol Aloe Vera and Vitamin E No-Touch Hand Wash System with Refill and Batteries

We encourage more effective and frequent handwashing with the Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System. The sensor automatically dispenses the moisturising soap. Ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms. The Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System includes a no-touch dispenser, a soap refill and batteries.

Usage

Set up instructions:
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Remove the red safety tab from behind the batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment. Push firmly back into place. Hold the dispenser in the palm of your hand. Slide the on/off button to turn the dispenser on.
4. Place the dispenser in the desired location. Place the hand wash refill upside down into the unit.
5. Place your hand under the nozzle in front of the lens until the unit dispenses soap. You may need to do this several times on first use. Wash your hands as normal.
When the hand wash refill is empty: Turn the dispenser off. Remove the refill. Only use Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System refills with this unit. Turn on.

Changing the batteries:
The unit is battery operated. Use alkaline batteries only! Do not mix different brands or types of batteries! Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly with the (+) and (-) terminals aligned. When the batteries are exhausted, replace with 2 new AA batteries! Do not expose batteries to water, fire or excessive heat! Do not short-circuit! If leakage occurs, remove batteries and leaked material immediately! Remove batteries if the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time! Batteries contain: 0% Hg / 0% Cd / 0% Pb.

Dispenser maintenance
Do not place the dispenser under running water! Do not put the dispenser in the dishwasher! If the dispenser needs cleaning, turn it off, then wipe down with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry thoroughly! Ensure that there is no soap residue on the lens under the nozzle, as this may cause the sensor to activate randomly! Do not expose the dispenser to direct sunlight! Do not place the dispenser in standing water!

Troubleshooting
1. If the dispenser does not turn on:
Check that the batteries have been inserted correctly. When the batteries are correctly in the dispenser, the lights on the front of the dispenser will flash for a few seconds and then turn off when it is ready to use.
2. If the dispenser is not dispensing properly or at all:
Place your hand between the nozzle and the indicator light (see diagram)! Turn the dispenser off! Clean the unit as per the ‘Dispenser maintenance’ section! If soap is being dispensed randomly, see ‘Dispenser maintenance’ section.

Storage

Store at room temperature.

Warning

For external use only. Keep out of reach of children, except under adult supervision. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water! If irritation persists, seek medical advice! Do not hold the dispenser in the middle when it is turned on, as this will activate the sensor and dispense soap. Before cleaning the surface on which the unit is placed, turn it off to prevent unnecessary dispensing of soap. DISPOSAL: Remove batteries and dispose of the unit in accordance with local regulations. Dispose of the empty container with household waste or recycle in accordance with local regulations. Place the automatic dispenser in the appropriate collection bin!
