Alnatura BIO Apple Purée

Bio Apple Puree

Bio apple puree from Germany, made from 100% apples. With its aromatic taste, Alnatura apple puree is a pure delight, and excellent as a dessert, with rice pudding, pancakes and much more. The apples are produced according to Bioland guidelines, its colour can vary from pale yellow to fine pink depending on the apple variety used. The apple puree is of course vegan.

Use - Banana curry pancakes

Preparation time
5 minutes preparation + 10 minutes cooking time

Ingredients

For 4 pancakes:

• 3 tablespoons apple puree (60 g)
• 250 ml oat drink
• 1 pinch of salt (0.05 g)
• 1 teaspoon curry powder (5 g)
• 150 g type 405 wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder (3 g)
• 2 ripe bananas
• 4 teaspoons virgin coconut oil (12 ml)

Preparation

1. Mix the dough and prepare the topping. Mix the apple puree with the oat drink, salt and curry powder. Finally add the wheat flour and baking powder to make a smooth dough. Peel the banana and cut into thin slices.
2. Baking pancakes
   Put coconut oil in a pan and heat up. Pour a small ladle of dough into the pan and spread it out. The dough does not have to be spread out all the way to the edge of the pan. Smaller pancakes make it easier to turn. Put banana slices on top and fry on medium heat for about 1 minute. Then turn the pancake and fry for another 1 minute. Do the same with the remaining dough and gradually fry the pancakes.

Tip

The pancakes are even tastier with different toppings. For example, try Alnatura coconut-almond cream, paired with Alnatura roasted coconut flakes.
