Alnatura Organic Brown Almond Butter
For creative cuisine: This spread is made from 100% peeled almonds. With its intensely aromatic flavour, it can be used to refine sauces, vegetable dishes or dressings, but is also suitable as a spreadable cream. The brown Alnatura almond butter is made without emulsifiers and stabilisers – any oil that may have settled can be stirred in again. The almonds come from organic farming.
Use - Salmon sticks with potato and almond puree

Ingredients
For 2 servings:
- 160 g skinless salmon fillet (frozen)
- 400 g floury potatoes
- 150 g unsweetened almond drink
- 0.50 teaspoon salt (2.50 g)
- 1 tablespoon Alnatura Organic Brown Almond Butter (25 g)
- 100 g sour cream
- 55 g Alnatura Organic Spicy Cream with Tomato and Cheese Pesto Rosso (spreadable)
- 1 tablespoon type 405 wheat flour (10 g)
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs (16 g)
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil (10 ml)
Preparation
- Let the salmon thaw at room temperature for at least 2 hours. Peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes, and bring to a boil in a saucepan with the almond drink and salt, then cook covered over medium heat for about 7 minutes until soft. Add the almond butter and puree until creamy. In a bowl, mix the sour cream and tomato cream.
- Wash the salmon fillet, pat dry, and cut into 5 cm sticks. Put the flour, egg and breadcrumbs in 3 deep plates, beat the egg. Thoroughly coat the salmon pieces first with flour, then with egg, and finally with breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a coated pan, add the breaded salmon, and fry on both sides over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Place the salmon sticks on plates together with the potato-almond puree and tomato sour cream and serve.
