The mineral water with a unique mineral composition comes from a protected Ice Age rock layer, 206 metres deep. It owes its soft, silky taste to its moderate mineral content.

In 2004, Szentkirályi was voted the world's best mineral water: in the still category, it won the Aqua-Eauscar award in Paris, leaving behind the world's famous, long-established mineral waters.
