Primátor Weizenbier light unfiltered Czech wheat beer

The intense flavour is given by the refreshing wheat, with a hint of banana flavour and clove scent, which is so typical for this type of beer. Its flavour is strong, medium-bodied and the fine presence of Žatec hops can be felt. Unfiltered, with a solid foam, opaque, light yellow colour. This is due not only to the yeast, but also to the higher protein content. Primator unfiltered Bavarian-type wheat beer won the European and World Championship title in the Bavarian wheat beer category at the World Beer Awards in 2013.

Producer information

The brewery producing Primátor beers was built in 1872 in Náchod, Czech Republic, and the first beer was brewed a year later. In 1935, the newly produced 12° brown beer, the “Náchodský Primátor”, was registered at the brewery, which has since been referred to only as “PRIMÁTOR”.

Currently, there are 17 types of beer in their permanent offer and they also launch 2-3 limited edition beers each year. The beers are sold in their own, uniquely shaped bottles. They brew approximately 120 thousand hectolitres of beer per year.

In 2013, the brewery received the prestigious "World's Best Beer" title from the WBA.
