Live Kombucha, Ginger-Lemon - Captain Kombucha is a delicious, sparkling, handcrafted beverage from the western coast of Portugal.

Every bottle contains the highest quality organic ingredients and our own fermented Captain Kombucha culture.

Kombucha is made by adding a live culture of symbiotic yeast and bacteria to sweetened tea, which ferments to create a unique beverage that is rich in B vitamins, organic acids, amino acids, enzymes and a whole host of live synergistic microorganisms.

Where it all began
Free spirited, ambitious minds, Peter and Matus. Together they decided they wanted to become the captains of their own lives.
They believed that people should be the ones to decide which path they want to sail on in life. And they also believed that life should always be lived to the fullest, in perfect balance of body and mind.

How it all started
During a holiday in the United States, the two friends discovered Kombucha tea, an ancient drink known as the elixir of immortality. They brought the Kombucha home and shared it with their friends and family. That's when they found out that 40 years ago, in Czechoslovakia, their grandparents used to brew their own Kombucha at home.

Something started brewing
Peter and Matus saw the perfect combination, their entrepreneurial spirit combined with their grandparents' legacy. So they started brewing Kombucha tea, but it couldn't be just another Kombucha... Their goal was to create THE Kombucha, the most perfect, the most authentic one.

Where the magic happened
They moved to Portugal, where they found the right conditions to produce a high quality, delicious Kombucha. These "Captain's Dreams" were just the beginning of a journey. They want to inspire people to become the captains of their own lives, people who take control of their own destiny, just like they did with their "The Gutsy Captain Company".
