Francois Raw Sparkling Wine
Its colour is light greenish-silvery. Its moderately intense aroma is delicate, discreetly yeasty, rich, in which floral notes are accompanied by some peach. Vibrant in the mouth, the taste of freshly picked juicy, pleasantly sour apple greets the consumer immediately, to which the melting bubbles conjure up a creamy texture. Aged flavours, crispy acids and a clean pear finish make this noble sparkling wine elegant.

Producer information
Louis François, the sparkling wine master from Reims, France, who was lured to Hungary by József Törley, the sparkling wine factory owner, became independent in 1886 after four years of fruitful cooperation, and founded his own sparkling wine factory with his brother César, who had also moved to Budafok in the meantime, under the name Louis François et Co. Budafok. In the same year, they bottled 7243 bottles of sparkling wine. This marked the beginning of the spectacular development of the plant established by the sons of Philipe François, the sparkling wine master of the Montigny sparkling wine factory in Champagne, who came to Hungary, which contributed greatly to the development and recognition of sparkling wine production in Budafok. The factory's annual turnover was already 800,000 bottles in 1914. After the losses suffered during the First and Second World Wars, the family failed to revive the company, and finally in 1949 the Monetary Centre liquidated it, and the state took over the properties. The joint history of François and Törley continued in 1982, when the Törley sparkling wine factory purchased the use of the name from the family on the occasion of its 100th anniversary and renovated the original cellars. In the François sparkling wine factory, which has always paid meticulous attention to quality, excellent sparkling wines have been made exclusively from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from the company's own vineyards in the Etyek-Buda wine region. During development and production, the brand pays special attention to offering sparkling wines that perfectly match Hungarian tastes.
