The Pistachio Cream Croissant is a mouthwatering croissant, which we fill with pistachio cream, so every bite is a special treat. It is made with artisan techniques, using selected ingredients, thus guaranteeing high quality. Its soft, crispy crust and creamy filling create a perfect combination, making it an ideal choice for breakfast or a snack.

Gábor Kauser and Gábor Ellenrieder opened their bakery in the 1st district in December 2017, the idea for which came to them during a trip to Paris, where they thought that a place similar to the local boulangeries (bakeries) and pâtisseries (pastry shops) should be opened in Budapest as well. When opening the store, they received a lot of help in developing the recipes from master confectioner Stephane Gerphagnon, and the small Mészáros utca bakery based on French traditions quickly became a favourite of the Buda Castle district residents.

In the artisan bakery, the sourdough breads, baguettes, pastries and French cakes are made by two bakers and a confectioner every day. They work with good quality Hungarian and French ingredients, and all their products are made on site. It is also a show bakery, so anyone can follow the work of the confectioner and the bakers through a glass wall. Out of their 30-35 bread recipes, they bake 4 different types every day. Semi-brown bread and baguettes are always on the menu, while the others are in constant rotation, and the variety is not only evident in the breads, but we can always expect something new in terms of bakery and confectionery products as well.
