Recipe idea: Spicy cheese in olive oil
Ingredients
20 dkg feta cheese, 20 dkg mozzarella, half a liter of olive oil, 6 cloves of garlic, 1 teaspoon of Horváth Rozi basil, 1 teaspoon of whole pepper.
Preparation
- Cut the cheeses into 2×2 cm pieces. Peel the garlic, quarter it, then layer it alternately with the cheeses in preserving jars.
- Season each layer evenly with pepper and basil, then when the jars are full, pour in enough olive oil to completely cover the cheeses.
- Seal the jars tightly and leave to mature for 1 week. We recommend it with toast, salads, or meat.
- Tip: The strained oil can be used later for new spicy cheeses or salads.
