May contain traces of gluten-containing cereals, eggs, milk (lactose), celery, soy and sesame seeds.

Ingredients
500 g whipping cream, 150 g milk, 60 g sugar, 1 vanilla bean, 1 teaspoon salt, 6 g gelatin.
Preparation
- Soak the gelatin in 35 g of cold water. Bring the milk to a boil with the sugar, the scraped vanilla seeds and bean, and the salt.
- Melt the swollen gelatin at a very low temperature, dissolve it in the hot milk.
- Measure the cream into a mixing bowl and strain the vanilla-gelatin milk over it.
- When it has cooled, divide the mixture into small bowls and let it set for at least 5 hours.
- When it has set, it can be eaten from the bowls, but traditionally panna cotta is turned out of the moulds - it is good when it is softly trembling. Serve with fresh fruit, fruit sauce or ice cream.
Tip: This classic Italian dessert can be flavoured with cinnamon, cardamom, coffee or even fruit.
Suggested use
- For 4-5 plates of jelly: 4 heaped teaspoons
- For fruit jelly: 2 heaped teaspoons per 1 dl of water
- For aspic: 2 heaped teaspoons of gelatin are required per 1 dl of water.
- Add the gelatin to lukewarm water and bring to the boil while stirring continuously. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
