It is the second most popular oilseed in the world. It is produced in the largest area and quantity in China, India and the USA. It contains a very high amount, 40-50% oil, but its pure protein content is also 25-30%. 

Use

The small, finely roasted seed is a healthy food rich in vitamins. Half of its ingredients are valuable oil (including oleic acid glyceride and linoleic acid glyceride ester), and it also has a significant protein content, which can be of great help especially to vegans or vegetarians, replacing animal proteins.

Store in a dry, cool place between 0-4 °C.
