Unsalted Lurpak butter contains only fresh cream, nothing else. Experience the sublime Lurpak taste in its natural form, without salt. Compared to other butters, it has a lower moisture content, making it an indispensable aid in cooking and baking – especially when making pastries or soufflés.

Producer information

On 23 October 1901, “Lurmark” became the registered trademark of quality Danish butter, i.e. it became the benchmark against which all other butters were judged for quality. Since 1911, regular, blind tasting procedures and weekly sampling have ensured that only the very best dairies are entitled to use the Lurmark Danish butter brand. This control system ensures that you can still get the most perfect butter today.

The famous intertwined “lyre” horns – bronze-age musical instruments that have become symbols of Denmark – can still be seen on the popular Lurpak® products today. Fine food deserves Lurpak butter.
