Granny Smith apple

A fruit of the rose family, which grows under almost every sky, is well known to everyone. The apple, which has a lot of beneficial effects on our body.

It has a waxy, shiny skin, and even when fully ripe, it is a green apple with a firm, crunchy flesh. Its taste is slightly tart.

Its high levels of vitamins A and B aid digestion. In addition, it contains phosphorus, iron, and magnesium. Due to the cellulose content in its skin, it also has an excellent cleansing effect.

Producer information

Apples have been grown in South Tyrol since the beginning. A few years ago, innovative varieties and products were grown in Eraclea near Venice, on a 125-hectare area: yellow Kiwi Dorì®, red-fleshed apple varieties, Crimson Snow®, Isaaq ®, Pink Lady®, as well as the latest colored clones of the most important apple varieties.

In South Tyrol, the most modern apple varieties are produced using modern methods. They have been running their companies for generations in Lana and Prissiano. Their Lana farm also offers holiday apartments in the Weinsepphof Residence Appartements.

Store in a dry, cool place, between 2-3°C.
