Almond Butter

This was the first nut butter made in the Mendula workshop, and after peanut butter, it is probably the most popular nut butter worldwide. This is certainly not only due to its delicious taste, but also to the amazing number of beneficial effects of almonds. It has a high vitamin E content, helps stabilize blood sugar levels (due to its low carbohydrate and high protein, fat and fiber content), and is full of antioxidants. It's pure luck that it's also incredibly delicious, isn't it?
It is made from lightly roasted almonds, which gives the final product an even more delicious, more intense flavor. Besides peanut butter, almond butter is probably the nut butter that goes best with the bread&fruit pairing, following the example of the American peanut butter&jelly sandwich, so if you prefer something sweet for breakfast but avoid sugar, Mendula's sure tip is whole-wheat rye bread toasted, spread with natural almond butter, and topped with some fruit (e.g. apple or pear slices, raspberries, or even bananas).

The starting point for all their products is the best quality raw material, but this is especially important for nut butters - since the oilseed is the main ingredient, it would be immediately noticeable if they did not use the finest, most excellent raw material.

They want to create tangible - and edible - value that gives instant happiness, made from the best ingredients, based on their own recipes, with the greatest love and knowledge.

They founded their family business in 2015 with the aim of producing exclusively premium quality special sweet and savory pastries, cakes, pies and handmade nut butters made from excellent quality oilseeds - almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts - purchased exclusively from domestic producers.
