First, let's see what the difference is between white and brown rice! Rice consists of several layers, and depending on the end goal, layers are removed during processing. Several layers are peeled off white rice, while in the case of brown rice, only the top layer is removed, so the valuable nutrients are preserved. Brown rice contains complex, slowly absorbed carbohydrates, starch and fibre. Thanks to the fibre, it fills you up quickly and for a long time. It is also rich in protein and is an important source of vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, manganese and selenium.
