Hipp ORS Carrot-Rice Drink for babies from 4 months

Special dietary food with natural ingredients and mineral salts for babies with diarrhoea. Even mild diarrhoea can be stressful for a baby's body in infancy and early childhood, so please consult your paediatrician!

Use

HiPP ORS 200 can be consumed from 4 months of age, and can only be given to babies under 4 months of age on medical advice. Unless otherwise advised by your doctor, it is recommended to only consume ORS 200 for the first 3-4 hours. In case of mild diarrhoea: 20–30 ml/kg body weight (up to 3% weight loss) in the first 3-4 hours. In case of mild to moderate diarrhoea: 30–80 ml/kg body weight (3–8% weight loss) in the first 3-4 hours. In case of further fluid loss due to vomiting or diarrhoea, another 50-100 ml of ORS 200 should be consumed for every loose stool or episode of vomiting (ideally in spoonfuls, repeated every 5-10 minutes). In case of severe diarrhoea, please consult your doctor.

Storage

Can be stored at room temperature. The remaining portion can be consumed within 24 hours of opening, stored in a sealed jar in the refrigerator.
