About the brand

The founder of the brand, Ziya Duru, started producing bulgur in 1935 with his brother, Ihsan Duru, to meet the needs of the military personnel. Ziya Duru placed great emphasis on producing a natural, high-quality product, which he passed on to his sons, Ihsan Duru and Emin Duru. In the traditional production method, the wheat was ground with water only, and the bulgur was sun-dried. This process has remained virtually unchanged, although production has since been automated. Thanks to this, Duru Bulgur has retained its natural taste and continues to be a favorite among its customers.

Duru Bulgur is one of Turkey's leading food companies, with 350 valued employees, 2000 subcontractors, 82 domestic and international distributors, and is also proud to have ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and ISO 22000 certificates.
