Takamaka Bay Spiced Rum from the Seychelles does not disgrace its place of origin. We get a real tropical orgy from it, a sweetly aromatic, wonderfully spicy, yet smooth rum. The rum, fermented from locally grown sugar cane, matures in oak barrels after small-scale distillation. The result is a rum with an exceptionally spicy, complex, yet harmonious aroma.

About the brand

Takamaka rum is produced in the Seychelles, on the island of Mahé, in the Trois Frères distillery by the D’Offay family. The estate was founded on an old tropical spice plantation, La Plaine St André, by French settlers over 200 years ago. The distillery has been operating since 2002 and is the first and only commercial rum producer and exporter in the Seychelles. The sugar cane used is grown by independent farmers in four different regions of Mahé, then crushed, distilled, aged and blended on site. Takamaka rum is named after a local bay on the island and a local tree.
