Pasta Natura Gluten-Free Casarecce Bamboo Stick Pasta

Casarecce is a traditional Sicilian pasta. It derives from the word "casereccio" which means "homemade". The pasta was traditionally made by hand by rolling up small squares of pasta dough twice, and it is still made this way today. A high-quality casarecce pasta has a slightly rough surface, which, in addition to its shape, helps the sauce to stick to it. It is typically used in dishes with eggplant, tomato, cheese and basil, but it is also excellent with pesto.  

Use

Cook the pasta for 9-10 minutes, or until al dente, as with traditional pasta.
