Farfalle pasta originates from the Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna regions of Italy in the 16th century. Its name comes from the Italian word "farfalla", which means butterfly, due to its characteristic bow-tie shape.

Our pasta is made from durum wheat semolina, which is a high-protein flour that is perfect for making pasta. The pasta is then shaped into the iconic bow-tie shape using special machines.

Cooking instructions

Ingredients:

• 104 g pasta
• 1 l water
•  10 g salt

Preparation:

•  Add the pasta to salted, boiling water, stirring occasionally.
•  Cook for the recommended time, which is a maximum of 13 minutes to achieve the perfect taste.
• One of the perfect uses for farfalle pasta is a light and refreshing summer pasta salad. First, cook the farfalle according to the instructions on the package until it is al dente. Then, chop some fresh vegetables, such as cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and bell peppers.
• Combine the pasta, vegetables, and crumbled feta cheese. Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and  pepper for a dressing. Toss the dressing with the pasta salad. Serve chilled and enjoy the delicious and healthy farfalle pasta salad!
