Lorenzo "A" rice

Lorenzo “A” quality rice

One of the most well-known and popular varieties of white rice in Europe. It is mainly used as a side dish for meat or vegetable dishes, stews.

Preparation

Measure out water in a 1:2 ratio to the desired amount of rice and bring to a boil. Fry the rice in oil, season with salt or spices to taste, then pour the water over the rice. Stir briefly and cook covered over low heat for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the stove and leave covered for an additional 4-5 minutes until the desired softness is reached. Serve warm.
