It all started in 1983. Bernd Schneider – the founder of the VacuVin brand – came up with the idea and goal of the VacuVin vacuum pump: to enjoy the taste of wine again after opening it, even several days later. With the help of his brother John, an engineer, they created the first wine vacuum pump and stopper.
