Organic Potatoes

Potatoes originate from the Andes Mountains and arrived in Europe in the 16th century. They are rich in vitamin C and B1, magnesium and iron. Their vitamin C content is the highest at the time of harvest.

Interesting fact

Parmentier, who discovered the potato during his imprisonment in Germany, brought some flowering stalks to Versailles, which then adorned the king's hat. The plant's advertising campaign at the time was to have the potato fields guarded by soldiers during the day, but they could be plundered freely at night. This initiative helped to spread the potato. And this was just the beginning of its great career, during which the potato became a staple food.

Uses

It can be used in many different ways: in soups, stews, fried in oil or fat, as a side dish for meat dishes, and in the preparation of bread and other yeast, baked and boiled doughs.

Storage

Store in a dry, cool place between 5-10 °C. Can be stored for a long time under cellar conditions without losing its consumer quality.
