BIO Cukkini

BIO Zucchini
Zucchini comes from squash varieties that were first domesticated in Mesoamerica over 7000 years ago, but the zucchini itself was cultivated in Milan in the late 19th century. It can be light or dark green, yellow or yellow striped, but regardless of colour, their nutritional value is similar. The majority of its nutritional value is found in its soft skin.

Interesting facts
It contains vitamin A and B as well as minerals such as manganese, potassium and phosphorus. It helps maintain our heart and helps fight against arteriosclerosis. Due to its juicy and neutral flavour, it can be easily seasoned and is a versatile vegetable that goes well with many dishes. Its skin and seeds are also edible.
Suggested use
Like other squashes, it can be used to make stews, lecsó, goulash, pâté, meatloaf, casseroles, baked one-pot dishes and breaded meat substitutes, but like cucumbers, it can also be used in salads and pickles. It is also an excellent dish when grilled, roasted on a skewer and seasoned similarly to meat.
Storage
Store in a dry, cool place between 5-10 °C.
