Nowaco Green Peas

The peas are harvested at the beginning of June and frozen within 4 hours of harvesting at full maturity, thus preserving their sweetness and vitamin content.

Instructions for use

Do not thaw before preparation! Do not refreeze after thawing!

Put the frozen peas into boiling, slightly salted water, bring to a boil, and remove from heat immediately. After cooling, use according to the recipe.

In the microwave: Put the contents of the bag into a suitable microwave-safe container, add three tablespoons of water and a little salt if necessary, and cook covered at 800-900 W for about 8 minutes. The cooking process should be interrupted two or three times and the vegetables should be stirred.

Serving suggestion

Frozen peas sautéed in butter are a delicious vegetable side dish. Suitable for soups and sauces.

The story of Nowaco may sound like a fairy tale, but they have been living in this fairy tale for 30 years. It all started with an advertisement placed by the Danish company Nowaco in a Czechoslovak newspaper in 1990, which read something like this: We are looking for a partner for our sales office in Czechoslovakia.

They started in an office, without a car and a warehouse, with one employee, exporting butter, beef and poultry, and in 1992 Nowaco Czechoslovakia s.r.o. was founded. Over time, French fries, chilled ham, fresh and frozen fish, pastries, ice cream, frozen vegetables and fruits, and ready-made meals became available in their offer.

The secret of their success is their honest approach, the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the processing. They offer a wide range of unique products and ready-made meals, based on traditional Czech recipes. Their preparation is simple and the result is more than impressive. They started literally from scratch, but managed to build a strong brand that they are proud of, but even more proud of their customers. Without them, the Nowaco brand would not be where it is today.
