Alnatura Organic White Beans in Brine

Quick and easy: for Italian antipasti, Greek salad or the typical British breakfast with baked beans. Alnatura white beans are versatile and already pre-cooked. With their floury consistency, they also work well in Mediterranean stews and vegetable dishes. All agricultural ingredients come from organic farming. Vegan.

Use - Warm couscous salad with white beans

Preparation time
10 minutes + 10 minutes cooking time + 10 minutes soaking time

Ingredients
For 3 glasses:

• 240 g Alnatura Organic White Beans in Brine
• 10 sprigs of basil
• 1 medium red bell pepper
• 20 g pine nuts
• 150 g Alnatura Organic couscous
• 180 g Alnatura Organic Spreadable Cream with Paprika and Chili
• 300 ml water (hot)

Preparation

1. Pour the beans into a colander, rinse under running water and drain. Wash the basil, shake off the water, pluck the leaves and cut into thin strips. Wash the bell pepper, quarter, core and finely chop.
2. Toast the pine nuts in a pan without fat over medium heat for 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and aromatic. Remove and let cool.
3. Divide the couscous into 3 glasses, layer the beans, spreadable cream and bell pepper on top. Close the jars and refrigerate until ready to serve. Store the pine nuts and basil separately.
4. Before serving, bring the water to a boil, pour 100 ml into each glass, close the lid and let the salad stand for 10 minutes. Then shake well and serve warm, sprinkled with pine nuts and basil.

Storage
