Alnatura Organic Soy Sauce Shoyu

Soy sauce is a classic seasoning in Asian cuisine. Alnatura Shoyu style soy sauce is made from organic ingredients, using the traditional Japanese method of fermentation, and contains only soybeans (33%), water, a little sea salt and wheat flour. It is matured for at least five months, which gives it its unmistakable, spicy, strong flavour. This makes it ideal for seasoning Far Eastern dishes.

Use - Mustard-curry barbecue marinade

Preparation time
5 minutes + 1 hour resting time

Ingredients
300 g marinated food (e.g. meat or tofu)

• 2 teaspoons rice syrup
• 2 teaspoons Alnatura Organic Mustard, moderately spicy
• 2 teaspoons curry powder
• 2 tablespoons Alnatura Organic Refined Sunflower Oil, for frying
• 2 tablespoons Alnatura Organic Soy Sauce Shoyu

Preparation

1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a whisk.
2. Spread the marinade evenly over the grilled food and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, covered.

Tip

The best way to marinate tofu is to drain it and then cut it at least crosswise and lengthwise.
