Alnatura Organic Virgin Flaxseed Oil
Flax is an ancient crop whose seeds are used to produce this oil with a characteristic nutty, slightly bitter aroma. Alnatura virgin flaxseed oil comes from native organic farming and is obtained from the first cold pressing. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, should not be heated, and should be kept in a cool place after opening. It enhances the flavor of salads and dips in cold cuisine. Flaxseed oil also goes well with cottage cheese and boiled potatoes. You can drizzle it over vegetable and rice dishes before serving.
Usage - Potato and porcini soup

Ingredients
For 4 servings:
- 900 ml Alnatura Organic Yeast-Free Vegetable Broth Base (prepared)
- 40 g dried porcini mushrooms
- 1 small onion (30 g)
- 500 g potatoes
- 50 g butter
- 0.50 teaspoon salt (2.50 g)
- 8 pinches ground black pepper (0.40 g)
- 300 ml Alnatura Organic Whipping Cream
- 3 sprigs parsley
- 4 teaspoons Alnatura Organic Virgin Flaxseed Oil (12 ml)
Preparation
- Bring the broth to a boil in a saucepan, add the porcini mushrooms, then turn off the heat and let stand for 1 hour with the lid closed. Drain the soaked mushrooms in a fine sieve and set the broth aside. Squeeze the porcini mushrooms lightly and chop finely, set aside 1 tablespoon of the chopped mushrooms.
- Peel and finely chop the onion and potatoes. Melt the butter in a large saucepan, add the diced onion and porcini mushrooms, and sauté for about 3 minutes. Add the potato cubes and sauté for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn colorless. Season with salt and pepper, add the reserved broth, and simmer uncovered on low for about 10 minutes.
- Wash the parsley and chop finely. Then pour the cream into the soup and bring to a boil. Puree the soup finely with a blender, season with salt and pepper. Then place on plates, sprinkle with the remaining porcini mushrooms and chopped parsley, and serve drizzled with flaxseed oil.
