Alnatura Organic Raw Cane Sugar

Gently processed sugar with a mild aroma and a fine golden color. It is produced by pressing freshly harvested sugar cane, carefully purifying the resulting juice, and gently concentrating it in a vacuum. Its grainy texture develops during a natural crystallization process. It is a substitute for white sugar, as raw cane sugar can be used everywhere white sugar is used. Alnatura raw cane sugar comes from organic farming.

Use - Raspberry Baguette Casserole with Vanilla Sauce

Preparation time
15 minutes + 20 minutes baking time

Ingredients
For 4 people

• 300 g rustic baguette
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 100 g whipped cream
• 2 eggs
• 1 packet Alnatura Organic Vanilla Pudding Powder
• 80 g raspberry jam
• 250 ml Alnatura Organic Milk
• 20 g Alnatura Organic Raw Cane Sugar

Preparation

1. Cut the baguette into 3-4 cm pieces. Grease a fireproof dish with butter and place the baguette cubes in it. Preheat the grill for indirect grilling.
2. Put the whipped cream, the egg and 30 g pudding powder in a bowl, beat with a whisk and pour over the bread cubes. Spread the raspberry jam over the pudding bread cubes with a teaspoon and grill indirectly at about 200 °C for 15-20 minutes until the egg mixture has set and the dish is golden brown.
3. In the meantime, for the sauce, mix the remaining vanilla pudding powder with 50 ml milk until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to the boil with the sugar in a pan, add the mixed pudding powder while stirring constantly and bring to the boil once. Put the casserole on plates and serve warm with the vanilla sauce.
