Vanilla Sugar

Due to its intense, aromatic flavour, Kotányi Vanilla Sugar is an indispensable ingredient for baking.

Premium sugar from Kotányi: Sugar with added vanilla flavouring for sweet delights. A popular substitute for real vanilla.

Suggested use

Use for pastries, desserts, sweet pasta dishes, puddings, creams, chutney, fruit salad, yoghurts.

Vanilla biscuits:

• 250 g flour,
• 150 g butter,
• 120 g sugar,
• 2 tbsp (30 g) Kotányi vanilla sugar

Preparation:

1. Knead the flour and butter into a crumbly mass, add the sugar and Kotányi Vanilla Sugar. Knead until you get a smooth dough, then let it rest in a cool place for at least 15 minutes.
2. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured board to a thickness of about 3 mm and cut out with a cookie cutter of your choice.
3. Bake the biscuits at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Tip: You can also add chocolate chips to the dough.
