Producer information
In February 2013, the establishment of Gyulahús Kft. put the meat industry production of Gyula on a new footing. With the help of the local government's state subsidy for job retention, the former meat-processing plant's buildings, machinery and brand name were purchased from the liquidator, thus saving the Gyula Meat Industry. Dry goods are still manufactured in the original Stéberl plant, using traditional technologies, while the production of stuffed goods - liver, frankfurters, cold cuts - continues to take place in the Kétegyházi út site, which was converted in 2010. Product development is continuous in both plants, and it is important that new products can also be incorporated into the diet of people with food allergies. Our mission is that Gyulai should still be the symbol of quality, expertise, tradition and commitment in 150 years' time.
