Ultra-high temperature treated, homogenized, low-fat, cocoa milk with 1.5% fat content, without added sugar, with sweeteners. Rich in protein and calcium, cocoa milk drink.

Producer information

The Budapest Dairy Company began producing the original Soviet dessert (the Soviet Union already had a predecessor filled with a cottage cheese-butter-sugar mixture, vanilla flavored, chocolate-coated, called "glazirovanniy sirok") in 1968, after the idea was brought to Hungary during a study trip between COMECON countries. It was first produced in the Szabolcstej dairy plant in Mátészalka, then production also began in the Zalkatej dairy plant in Nagybánhegyes. Following the regime change, the manufacturing companies were privatized, as a result of which the production of Túró Rudi became the property of Friesland-Campina.

Even today, the Pöttyös brand enjoys incredible success, as every age group can find their favorite flavor. Pöttyös products mean more to us Hungarians than just a delicacy. They are always with us and bring a smile to our faces at every moment, cheering us up!
