In 2018, the family was expanded with a new product, the Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition whiskey, which, as its name suggests, is an edition aged in Indian Pale Ale (IPA) beer barrels.

Thanks to the IPA, the whiskey features the hoppy notes, floral traits and citrus character of the IPA, which make the drink special both separately and together. The story of Jameson whiskey is linked to the name of John Jameson, who opened his own distillery in Ireland in 1780, despite his Scottish origin, from where he has been flooding the world with the highest quality spirits ever since, with a unique, characteristic flavour even within its own category. In addition to the high-quality barley and crystal-clear water, its special feature is mainly that it is aged in selected and controlled wooden barrels, which can provide an even more special and sweeter aroma for Jameson whiskey, the immeasurable care of which is already visible in its golden colour. Each Jameson whiskey takes on its final form and unmistakable aroma during triple distillation, so it is best recommended on its own, mixed with a little ice, but it is also an ideal base if you would like to mix a premium cocktail.
