Koch Freshly pressed blue grape juice with apple and forest fruit

This is the "red" member of our fruit juices, this fresh, vibrantly coloured, pulpy juice is made from Kékfrankos grape juice, apple juice and forest fruits. 

Its aroma reveals the characteristic notes of Kékfrankos, which is the defining, main red grape variety of both our winery and Hungary. The primary aromas of this spicy, acidic variety are mainly red berry fruit notes, such as redcurrant, raspberry and blackberry. 

This fresh Kékfrankos must was blended with Summared and Gala apples, as well as forest fruits. Forest fruits are low in calories, excellent antioxidants, rich in vitamin C and minerals. This product is a real vitamin bomb. 

Product information

• Product free from added sugar, preservatives and additives.
• 100% fruit juice, pasteurised, freshly squeezed from fruit. 
• The fruits are processed chilled, then cold pressing is followed by pasteurisation and bottling.
• The fruit juice is unfiltered, so sediment may form in the bottle due to the fibre content.

Producer information

In 1746, József Koch arrived in Hajós, then in 1748 he settled in Császártöltés, and was one of the 13 families who founded the village. He was the first merchant in the village. He started growing grapes and making wine, and this was passed down from father to son for 10 generations. The current owner was born in 1969, his grandfathers and great-grandfathers also grew grapes and made wine, so he fell in love with grapes, the smell and atmosphere of the cellars carved into the loess wall as a child.

Storage

Store refrigerated (4-12°C) after opening and consume within 2-3 days.
