Description
Basmati rice is the finest variety of rice grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is an excellent side dish for any meal, but you can also make a main course from it. The basmati rice made for Marks&Spencer is grown in Pakistan under the name Super Kernel Basmati.
Instructions for use
Place the rice in a large saucepan. Pour cold water over it, add salt, stir and bring to a boil. Cook on a low heat for 5 minutes, or until tender. Set aside and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Drain and fluff with a fork.
