Karamalz is a refreshing, non-alcoholic, malt-based soft drink specialty made from natural ingredients, which contains vitamins, minerals (potassium, calcium, magnesium), trace elements (zinc). Its main ingredient is malt, which is one of the nutrient sources necessary for the growth and balanced functioning of our body. In 1955, the first malt beer was produced at the Henninger brewery, which was marketed under the name "Henninger Karamel power beer". The classic Steinie –(nicknamed Stubbinak) malt beer bottle first became known in the Frankfurt area. After changing the recipe, the product was marketed under the new, shortened name "Karamel power beer". This is when the brand name "Karamalz" was born. In addition to the Frankfurt region, it was soon also sold in southern Germany, Bavaria, and with the slogan "Karamalz is the drink for the whole family", it also became a real hit product in the southern region of Germany.
