Its colour varies from light yellow to dark brown. Its scent and flavour also depend on the collection area, usually a rich-flavoured honey with an intense scent. It is the second most consumed honey after acacia honey.

What makes organic honey organic?

Organic honey can only be collected by beekeepers from areas certified by Biokontroll. These areas are characterised by the fact that there is no agricultural area within a 10 km radius. This also includes 100% pesticide-free, natural animal husbandry. In such cases, only certified beekeepers can deal with organic honey, and in the case of processing, the distributor similarly receives this certification after appropriate measures.

Only put honey in a drink at consumption temperature (max. 45°C) to preserve its quality!

The crystallisation of honey is a natural process! It does not affect its quality at all. If you place the crystallised honey in a 45-degree water bath, it will become liquid again in a few minutes, with unchanged quality! All real honey crystallises over time, due to its fructose-glucose-sucrose content and ratio.

The aim of Magyar Méz Manufaktúra is to deliver the best possible quality products from controlled farms to families' tables. They only deal with Hungarian products, thus remaining true to their name and principles. They continuously monitor the work of their original producers and the quality of their honey through their own internal control system in addition to the authorities, so they can always provide the best quality for their customers. Their plant has had a Biokontroll and HACCP permit since 2017, so they produce in accordance with the mandatory standards every day.
