About the manufacturer

The Kőbánya brewery opened in 1854 became Hungary's first brewery that still produces today – as the factory of Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt. In the mid-19th century, Dreher Antal introduced the bottom-fermentation brewing technology and developed a new type of beer: Lagerbier. Later, he was awarded the honorary title of “King of Beer” for this, and this became the basis for the great Dreher beers.

Dreher has been successful at numerous international fairs and exhibitions since the beginning, including winning a gold medal at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition. The members of the product family regularly receive prestigious awards at international beer competitions.
