The Artisan Almond Cream Croissant is an exceptionally delicious croissant, filled with almond cream, and a real treat in every bite. It is made with artisan techniques, from carefully selected ingredients, thus guaranteeing high quality. The soft, crispy shell and the creamy filling provide the perfect combination, making it an ideal choice for breakfast or a snack.

Gábor Kauser and Gábor Ellenrieder opened their bakery in the 1st district in December 2017, inspired by a trip to Paris, where they decided to open a similar place in Budapest, combining a boulangerie (bakery) and a pâtisserie (pastry shop). When opening the store, they received a lot of help in developing the recipes from pastry chef Stephane Gerphagnon, and the small Mészáros utca bakery, based on French tradition, quickly became a favorite of the people of Buda.

In the artisan bakery, sourdough breads, baguettes, pastries and French cakes are produced every day by two bakers and a pastry chef. They work with high-quality Hungarian and French ingredients, and all their products are made on site. It is also a show bakery, so anyone can follow the work of the pastry chef and the bakers through a glass wall. Out of their 30-35 bread recipes, they bake 4 different types every day. Semi-brown and baguette are always on the menu, while the others are in constant rotation, and the variety is not only evident in the breads, but we can always expect something new in terms of bakery and pastry products as well.
