Product description

Due to its high plant protein content, Toffini tofu is an excellent fresh food substitute for cheese, cottage cheese, and meat. Our imagination is the only limit to how we use tofu. The raw material of the smoked BIO tofu made with natural smoke flavour is GMO-free soya beans from strictly controlled organic farming.

Suggested use

Excellent marinated, sliced, steamed, fried, grilled, baked, breaded, or even added to hamburgers instead of meat.

Producer information

Naszálytej Zrt. has been producing Toffini brand tofu products in its Vác soya plant for almost 2 decades, since 2002. The manufacturer places great emphasis on ensuring that Toffini tofus are made exclusively from Hungarian and GMO-free, high-protein soya beans. This is also guaranteed by the Hungarian Product emblem on the products!

Domestic tofu consumption has increased significantly in recent times, so that today Naszálytej Zrt. produces almost ten times the initial production volume in its Vác soya plant, using traditional Chinese craftsmanship technology, without the addition of preservatives.

The Toffini product portfolio offers 5 different flavoured tofus, in traditional and organic versions:

•  in addition to plain, smoked, chilli (NEW FLAVOUR) and chives tofus,
•  BIO Toffini tofu from controlled organic farming: plain, smoked and basil (NEW flavour) flavours.

Their latest product is the lemon-flavoured Vegan dessert, also made from tofu. It looks like a curd cheese bar, but it can be safely consumed by those with milk protein sensitivity, as it contains soft, creamy tofu instead of curd cheese.
