Lorenzo Risotto Rice
The risotto rice in the Lorenzo product range is a short-grained, white, Italian Arborio rice variety. Due to its high starch content, it becomes creamy when cooked. It brings out the flavours of other ingredients well. An excellent base for authentic Italian risottos.
Cooking instructions
Measure out water in a 1:2 ratio to the desired amount of risotto rice. Salt the rice to taste, then pour the water over the rice. Stir briefly and cook covered over a low heat for 15-18 minutes. When the rice is cooked, mix it with saucy ragouts to create a delicious one-pot dish.
