Gilvesy Bohém Cuvée 2024 Balaton

Contrary to its name, Bohém is becoming an increasingly serious wine. A blend of lively acidic calcareous and deeper volcanic soil, mainly with Rhine, Italian Riesling and Sauvignon varieties. The young vines' tender yield from several harvests, from spontaneously fermented, lees-aged batches to tightly acidic base wines fermented under controlled cooling. It is still one of the best buys and recommendations from the northern shore of Lake Balaton.

Producer information

The cellar was built around 1680 by the Lengyel family, and later became part of the noble Esterházy estate. The renovation and transformation was completed in 2012 - just in time for the harvest. Since 2014, we have been practicing organic farming in all Gilvesy plantations.

Recommended storage temperature is between 7-15°C.
