Pita or pitta (British English) is a family of yeast-leavened flatbreads baked from wheat flour that is common in the Mediterranean and Middle East. It includes the widely known version with an internal "pocket" also known as Arabic or Syrian bread, as well as pocketless versions like the Greek pita used for wrapping souvlaki. The name pita in the West is sometimes also applied to various other types of flatbreads.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Once opened, store in the refrigerator for a maximum of 3 days.
