- 160 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 170 g cottage cheese
- 1 pc egg
- 2.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- Baking paper
Steps
- 1In a bowl, mix the wholemeal spelt flour, cottage cheese, egg, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Knead the dough thoroughly by hand until all ingredients are well combined.
- 2Let the prepared dough rest in the bowl for 10–15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 170 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 3From the rested dough, form 4 equally sized buns and place them on the prepared baking tray. Put the tray into the preheated oven and bake the buns for 30–35 minutes at 165–170 °C. The finished buns should be golden brown on top and soft to the touch.
