Ingredients

  • 400 g dry spaghetti
  • 500 g shrimp
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 pc chili pepper
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 handful fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt

    Cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water (approx. 4-5 liters of water and 40 g salt) until al dente. Drain, but reserve 100 ml of the cooking water.

    Clean the shrimp, cut into 2-4 pieces depending on size, then toss with lemon juice in a bowl.

    Peel and thinly slice the garlic. Slice the chili pepper into rings.

    Pour the olive oil into a cold pan, add the garlic and chili, then start heating over medium heat. Sauté for about 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour in the reserved cooking water and heat for another 4 minutes.

    Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the pan. Mix thoroughly and cook for about 1 minute, until the shrimp are done. Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan and chopped parsley, then serve immediately.
